Brasil-Europa is an academic community dedicated to the study of cultural processes in global contexts. The studies are conducted using Euro-Brazilian relations as a frame of reference.

The analyses serve to understand the cultural conditioning and the relationships between culture/nature and to promote human rights and animal rights. The studies and reflections are oriented towards the present and the future.

It is the first institution with these objectives. It has a long history of reflections, research and initiatives, colloquia, symposia and congresses.

The organization operates through the

Brazil-Europe Academy of Science of Culture and Science (A.B.E.)

and the

Institute for the Study of Musical Culture of the Portuguese-Speaking World (I.S.M.P.S)
